Waveform Technique For Detection of Dielectric Constant of Human Blood Using Indigenous TDR *T. A. Prajapati, S. N. Helambe
The presented paper describes a waveform technique that can be used to detect the dielectric constant of human blood using developed TDR. This TDR has a pulse generator with rise time of 5.8ns and a Digital Oscilloscope of sampling rate 60MHz. Several blood samples have been collected from the pathology lab and the digital data are stored using the developed TDR by putting single drop of blood at sample holder.

Now a day for surface roughness detection machine vision has become important aspect as it is online, real time and noncontact type of method. In this work we obtained the optical roughness parameter Ga from digital images of machined surface and compared with the stylus calculated roughness values Ra and ANN predicted values. Face recognition based unimodal biometric system is developed in this work. The face features are extracted by Histograms of Oriented Gradients (HOG). For person identification of KVKRG face database several techniques were used. In this experiment total, 500 images were used. KVKRG Face database is developed under UGC-SAP Phase I (which is the researchers own major contribution) having 10 poses of each subject.

This paper explains the measurement of load impedance of a transmission line using a developed Time Domain Reflectometer (TDR). This TDR has the rise time of 5.6ns and consists of 60MHz DSO to store the digital data and observe the waveform on its screen. The open end of the transmission line of TDR is used to connect the different value of resistors and the voltage of waveform for each resistor is recorded using the cursor.
