  • Mathematical Modeling and Optimization of CO2 as Exhaust Gas Component of Dual Fuel CI Engine Coupled with Biomass Gasifier Using Diesel and Mustard Stalk Lakhwinder Singh

Abstract - Punjab state is an agricultural state with twelve major crops have been sown round the year producing 14.53MT as crop residue. Huge quantity of crop residue poses a serious problem of stubble burning in the fields that leads to the burning of potential wealth and pollution across the state. Crop residue has a electricity generation potential of 1000MW annually1, if properly utilized.

  • Role of marine shell (Meretrix casta: Bivalve) in cement mortar preparation: An experimental study Adarsh, A.S, Senthil Kumar

Abstract - Marine shells are suitable for mixing with cement as a replacer of cement. Fly ash, blast furnace slag, silica fumes, etc., are proposed as cement replacement materials. In this study Meretrix casta (bivalve) shell powder has experimented as a partial replacement in cementitious mortar compositions. Seven (E1toE7) specimens of the cement mortar cubes were prepared with various combinations and proportions.

E1 specimen made with conventional mortar without any replacement. E2 with 12.5% of fly ash replacement, E3 toE7 specimens made with Meretrix casta shell powder (MCSP) as partial replacement for cement in the cement mortar with 8.33%, 8.75% and 8.75% of the cement weight. Seven and twenty-eight days compressive strengths of cured mortar cube specimens were analyzed.

Abstract - A virtual trial room is the online equivalent of an in-store changing room. It enables shoppers to try on apparels to check one or more of size, fit or style, but virtually rather than physically. V-Trial system will allow the customers to quickly browse through a variety of apparels in a matter of minutes. They can shortlist a few products that they actually want to try, thereby decreasing the load on the actual trial rooms.

Along with that, the vendors will also be able to show the upcoming fresh stocks to the customers, which can further boost their sales. The project has developed a webpage which allows the customer to choose apparel and show the user how it will fit on him. This proposed system can allow the customers to experience real-time shopping while sitting in their living rooms. Proposed system is cost-effective as it does not make use of any expensive hardware or peripherals.

  • The concept of Non-Performing Assets at public and private sector banks in India Saileja sevella

Abstract - A strong banking sector is important for growth of the economy. The failure of the banking sector may have an adverse impact on other sectors. Non-performing assets (NPA) is one of the major concerns for banks in India. NPAs reflect the performance of banks. A high level of NPAs suggests high probability of a large number of credit defaults that affect the profitability and net-worth of banks.

The NPA growth involves the necessity of provisions, which reduces the overall profits and shareholders value. The problem of NPAs is not only affecting the banks but also the whole economy. In fact high level of NPAs in Indian banks is nothing but a reflection of the state of health of the industry and trade. This research paper deals with the concept of NPAs, its causes for an account becoming non-performing, impact and measures to overcome the problem of NPA..

Abstract - To facilitate extensive collaborations, cloud data services, it is commonplace for data to be not only stored in the cloud, but also shared across multiple users. Unfortunately, the integrity of cloud data is subject to skepticism due to the existence of hardware/software failures and human errors. Several mechanisms have been designed to allow both data owners and public verifiers to efficiently audit cloud data integrity

without retrieving the entire data from the cloud server. However, public auditing on the integrity of shared data with these existing mechanisms will inevitably reveal confidential information identity privacy to public verifiers. In this paper, we propose a novel privacy-preserving mechanism that supports public auditing on shared data stored in the cloud. In particular, we exploit ring signatures to compute verification metadata.

Abstract - Voice Operated Floor Cleaning Robot (Mark) is a mobile robot whose motions can be controlled by the user by giving specific voice commands. The speech is received by a mobile Bluetooth device and processed by the voice module. When a command for the robot is recognized, then voice module sends a command message to the robot’s microcontroller. The microcontroller analyzes the message and takes appropriate actions.

The objective is to design a mobile robot which is controlled by servo motors. When any voice commands are given on the android application, the voice module will take the voice commands and convert the voice commands into digital signals. Then these digital signals are transmitted via BLUETOOTH module to the robot. On the receiver end the other BLUETOOTH module receives the command from the transmitter.

Abstract - With the advancement of technology, electricity generation using wind has drawn an increased attention in the world. As the amount of wind power integrated into the system is increased, it causes power quality and stability problems. Therefore power utilities are developing stringent grid codes which are to be satisfied by the wind power producers. Voltage control capability, reactive range capability, frequency control ability.

fault ride through capability are among the major requirements stipulated in the grid codes. Due to the variable speed operation capability of Doubly Fed Induction Generators (DFIGs), they are becoming popular in wind power generation. The voltage control of the DFIG wind farm has been identified as the latest challenge with the present grid code requirements.

The capital budgeting decisions are one of the critical financial decisions that relate to the selection of investment proposal or the course of action that will yield benefits in the future over the lifetime of the project. The net present value is one of the discounted cash flow technique

It is an amount indicating how much value an investment will result in. This is calculated by subtracting the initial investments from sum of the discounted cash flows. If the result yields positive, then the project should be undertaken. This study is undertaken to study the importance of capital budgeting or long term investment decisions using NPV as a tool.

Pity, until recently, the works that ensure wellbeing of families and societies does not had any social recognition or measure.

On account of Gendered men dominated social norms that define unpaid care work is female responsibility, women from all walk of life from all socio economic background need to devote sizeable part of their day and energy to this unpaid care work. This gives them no time at all for paid work or they need to work additional hours for the paid work. This either left them economically dependent on male members of family or working long hours.

Abstract - An Advanced Modified Cascaded Switch-Ladder Multilevel Inverter Structure is presented and it generates an optimum number of voltage output levels. Firstly, a fundamental switch-ladder multilevel structure is described. Then, the structure of recommended cascaded topology based on series connection of fundamental switch ladder topologies is presented. To generate optimum number of levels with minimum number of switching elements.

dc sources and voltage on switches, the proposed cascade topology is modified for better results. After a detailed evaluation of the results, it is proven that the proposed cascaded topology involves lesser number of components. In addition to that the value of voltage rating on switches is lesser compared to existing system. Test outcomes for two topologies are analysed to verify the performance of proposed topology.
