Navigation is unavoidable for humans. The challenging task for blind or poor visibility people is moving from one place to another independently. Travelling in unfamiliar environment without fellowship is harmful for blind or poor visibility people. It is also essential to know the whereabouts of blind or poor visibility people by caretaker when travelling alone. E – Stick, an Electronic Travelling Aid (ETA) will resolve the challenges faced by blind.

E-Stick uses Ultrasonic sensors to detect obstacles. LDR sensor will help while travelling at night. Caretaker can trace the location of blind or poor visibility people. Global Positioning system(GPS) is used for the indication of current location of blind or poor visibility people. Generally people are more interested to know about the social events such as news about entrepreneur, celebrity, sports star, politicians, scientist, etc. Most of the news website and some of the search engines provides the information of current affairs but have certain limitations like the coverage of news is under the control of editor where he can modify as per his requirement, the arena of news coverage is too small and unscalable.

Story board generation system will overcome these limitations through scalable and unprejudiced solution to automatically detect social events especially related to celebrities along a timeline by using SNMF(Smooth Non-Negative Matrix Factorization) algorithm. This algorithm has two approaches namely Event Detection and Photo Selection. Event Detection will help to catgorize the topics through user queries.

  • Dynamic Request Redirection for Mining System Services under Heterogeneous Distributed System Dhanashree R. Kolhe, Dr. Varsha Namdeo

Algorithms are used on very big data sets with high dimensionality. Therefore, fast processing can be applied for mining using association rules. The process of association rule mining consists of identifying frequent item sets and generating rules from the frequent item data sets. Finding frequent item sets is more complex in terms of CPU power consumption and computing resources utilization.

Thus, majority of parallel apriori algorithms focus on parallelizing the process of discovering frequent item set. The computation of frequent item sets mainly consist of creating the candidates and counting them. In parallel frequent item sets mining algorithms addresses the issue of distributing the candidates among processors such that their creation and counting is effectively parallelized.

An attempt is made to study and analyze the response of a cylindrical robot manipulator which is undergoing some rotational movement. Here the shoulder joint of a cylindrical robot manipulator is considered and the movement of the robot arm is simulated using PID controller.

First the mathematical model of the system is formulated. It is then simulated for its responses using BASIC language. Various responses of the system are obtained by varying one gain at a time and keeping other two gains fixed at some lower values. Responses for each gain are then analyzed to get the range of the gain and the best gain. Next all the three gains are varied around the best values.

Most efficient way of utilizing coal for steam generation is to burn it in pulverised form. The coal is pulverised to fineness such that 70-80% passes through a 200 Mesh sieve. Normally low speed ball mills or medium speed vertical spindle mills are employed in thermal power plant for this purpose. The milling system is an important part of the auxiliary equipment of a coal-fired power plant.

Pulveriser mill are one of the critical equipment of coal fired thermal power plant. • Awareness of Consumers towards their Rights and Consumer Protection Act, 1986 Mani Arora, Dr. Anil Kumar Soni

Consumer Awareness is the understanding by an individual of their rights as a consumer concerning available products and services being marketed and sold. The concept of consumer awareness involves four categories including safety, choice, information and the right to be heard. Consumers are the central point of all economic activity. Everyone is a born consumer, whether he is an industrialist, a producer, a trader engaged in any profession or service or belonging to any other class.

Whether one is a producer or whether he renders a service, the ultimate object of all production is to ensure consumption of goods and services to the satisfaction of the consumers. This could be achieved only when the products are of acceptable standard quality and are not produced and distributed with the only motive of making profits. This idea referred to the concept of consumer protection.

  • Endless Runway - Orientation, Design and Calculations Hasan Haider, Divya Rawat, Mr. Devesh Jaysawal

The concept Endless Runway is not new, in the mid of 19th century the test were done by US navy and General motors. but now when the air trafficking is rising too fast and problems are spreading their arm towards land actuation for fulfillment of more runways and deforestation taking place, the circular runway again striking in designer’s mind.

Circular runway is the one of best way to resolve air traffic and also provide a safe landing and take-off operations at any conditions. In the case of Circular runway the chances of accidents also will be low and multi operations can be resolve at a several time. In a age when we are expecting 60 million passengers per day it is very clear that the chances of accidents also will be higher and air traffic.

Cloud computing is trending as a new platform for the purpose of distributed computing in today’s IT world. It enables the user or client to access the resources worldwide without any boundation to storage and processing units. The major issue prevailing in Cloud computing is load balancing; which is distributing the dynamic local workload among the nodes in the cloud in an even manner.

It ensures that no specific node is overloaded while another node is fully idle. The basic idea of load balancing is to optimize the resource consumption. To achieve optimal results, many performance metrices are considered. This paper focuses on the different existing techniques in a different cloud environment and illustrates the comparison between them.

Feature analysis is one of the major components of Machine Learning. It consists of two processes, Feature Extraction and Feature Selection. The Feature Selection has an importance in data mining, soft computing, and big data analytic areas. In this task, we propose an intuitive way of extraction and selecting the features from the chosen data through KNN (K- Nearest Neighbour) method.

Analysis of bathymetry data is a challenging taskdue to several reasons. The data is collected remotely which isenormous in size. Bathymetry data contains the depth values ofwater body at various locations. This data is processed togenerate a 3D plot by interpolating the intermediate values of theplot. The bathymetry data consists of multiple noises which are removed by applying noise removal algorithms.
